Latest Update
I hoped to do a 4 mile run on Saturday, but I had to stop after 2 miles because I felt so weak and achey. I went home, showered, then took a nap on the couch.
I think I am feeling almost 100% today, but I plan to take today off (i still felt pretty bad yesterday) and hopefully give it another shot tomorrow. Fortunately, I still have just over 3 months until race day to build up my distance. I want to do at least one run in the 10 to 11 mile range by the beginning of September so that I can give myself a decent chance of running the entire 13.1 miles on the big day.

I'm Still Here!
A week ago last Thursday I ran 35 minutes, which is my longest run in May. Last week, I did 30 minute runs on two days, Monday and Thursday. I hope to do a bit longer run tomorrow, but we will see how the weather holds out.
I hope to come up with and start following a more regimented training plan soon, but a lot of that is going to depend on how I am able to fit my long runs in between work and kids' activities.

Latest Update
I hoped to run outside today, but let's just say it was a little cold.... However, I did run for 20 minutes on an indoor track.

3 Miles...2 Miles
After a number of days off due to my schedule, I ran again today, this time doing 2.5 miles (25 minutes). After about 12 minutes, I started to get a slight cramp in my right calf. I ran through it, and after a minute or so it did not really bother me for the remainder of the run. It is a little sore now, but I am not going to stop my training because of it.
