I did a really tough 3 miles yesterday. There were many times I really felt like stopping, starting from the end of the first mile on, but I pushed myself to keep running. I just kept reminding myself that I will feel like walking many times during the half marathon, but I will need to fight that urge and keep running.

ReplyDeleteI just found your blog through the link on the family website. I just wanted to let you know I am impressed that you decided to train for a half marathon.
Have you run before? Did you do the Ridge Run one year? (Or is my addled brain mis-remembering things? I do that a lot!)
